MQTTBox is a versatile developer tool that simplifies the monitoring of your MQTT Server. With MQTTBox, you can effortlessly subscribe to and publish topics, as well as create a virtual MQTT appliance for testing and debugging purposes. The best part is that you can utilize the same server for multiple tasks, optimizing your development workflow.
The MQTTBox client is not only free and open source, but also incredibly user-friendly. It seamlessly connects to MQTT brokers, enabling you to send messages to your application effortlessly. The client offers a wide range of configuration options, including username and password verification. Additionally, you can conveniently subscribe to multiple topics simultaneously, copy message payloads with a single click, and review the history of published messages. The wildcard symbol % allows you to add multiple MQTT clients.
Once you have successfully installed MQTTBox, it's time to establish a connection with your application. Begin by accessing the MindConnect IoT Extension on the MindSphere Launchpad. From there, select "All devices" and then "Devices". Locate and click on the link corresponding to the desired device you wish to connect to. The application will launch and display the device details, including the External ID. As a developer, you will need to enter this ID to establish the connection.
